Oyo Deputy Speaker Fadeyi Seeks Economic Growth for Ona-Ara as Access Bank Opens New Branch

The Deputy Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Mohammed Fadeyi, has called on new  investors and philanthropists in the country to invest massively in Ona-Ara local government area of the state,  saying the area is one of the most  business friendly in the state.

The Deputy Speaker made the call during the official commissioning of Access Bank Bank branch in Olorunsogo-Akaran road, Ibadan  on Tuesday. 

According to him, business development such as the establishment of Access Bank branch in Ona Ara  local government have the capacity of promoting  business activities in any  environment.

While advising the bank to treat the people of the area in a manner that will be beneficiary to both parties, Hon. Fadeyi  assured the management of the new generation bank of smooth working relationship with the people.

The Deputy Speaker who represents Ona Ara State Constituency in the Assembly promised to partner with the bank in his empowerment scheme for the people.

“I want to urge you to treat the people of the area in a manner that will be beneficiary to them because  Ona  Ara is an agrarian area and one of the fastest growing area in Ibadan.

“You can see that industries, both small and large scale enterprises are springing up every day in Ona  Ara and this is an indication that the area is fast developing.”

The number two lawmaker in the hallow chamber disclosed that  another new generation bank has acquired land to  establish its branch in the area saying,  it  is an  indication that Ona Ara is fast developing in the state.

“The development is a result of the proximity of the area to the main city. I want to assure you all that more development are coming up in Ona Ara constituency.”

Speaking, the Regional Sales Director, Access Bank,  Mr Bolaji Aboderin said the objectives of establishing the new branch in the area is to bring  their services close to the people of the area, assuring them of cordial working relationship capable of  promoting their business activities.

Said he, “We have introduced Access Bank  Diamond  Extra Account to improve our services to our prospective customers. We are here to serve you better, he added.

Present at the programme are Chief Imam of Ona Ara Local Government Alhaji Lateef Salawu,  Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria in Ona Ara, Pastor Akinlade Kolawole, Gbogbo Babaloja of the area, Elder Mattew Olu Adeniran (JP) and many other prominent members of the area.
