Oyo state government is set to reinstate 300 workers wrongly dismissed or sacked by the last administration without due process.
The state Commissioner for Establishment and Training, Barrister Olasunkanmi Olaleye disclosed this while briefing newsmen at the end of the weekly executive council meeting.
Olaleye who explained that the unjustly dismissed workers would be pardoned and absolved also noted that the government would honour court judgement of other twelve civil servants who went to court to seek redress over what they described as unlawful termination of appointment.
The commissioner equally expressed the determination of the present government not to recall 499 workers discovered that have been operating with fake certificates.
Also speaking, the Commissioner for Education, Prof Daud Sangodoyin said intervention classes for SS 3 students would begin next week.
He stated that over N57 million has been earmarked as compensation for teachers that would be tutoring the students.
