A candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to represent Afijio state constituency, Mr Seyi Adisa has expressed hope in the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to deliver the good and live up to the electorate expectations in the ongoing Governorship and House of Assembly elections.
He expressed the optimism while speaking with journalists shortly after casting his vote in the company of his wife, Tolu, at exactly 10:20 am at his ward 6, unit 9, Oke Odofin in Awe, Afijio Local Government Area of the State.
Adisa opined that so far, the electoral body is doing well, adding that it has conducted itself credible and the security agents up to the task in the discharge of their duties.
“INEC is doing well. They have conducted themselves credible so far and the security is doing its duties very good.
“I think generally, it’s been credible. The punctuality was good. They had to sort out a few things with the various party agents.
“We just had one or two cases of card reader issues and it is minimal,” adding that the level of turnout was fair.
