Oyo: I Will Reclaim My ‘Stolen’ Mandate, Says Ladoja

By Adeola Oladele, Ibadan

Accord gubernatorial candidate in the April 11 election in Oyo State, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, has told his loyalists to keep calm, assuring them that he would soon reclaim what he described as his stolen mandate.

Ladoja stated this on Tuesday in Ibadan, while addressing a mammoth crowd that converged on Accord’s state office at the Airport road, Samonda, Ibadan.

He thanked the party faithful for their votes during the election, while assuring them that victory shall be theirs in no time.

The former governor also sent a warning signal to the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate and winner of the election, Governor Abiola Ajimobi, and his supporters in the state to desist from harassing his party members, saying failure to do so would make him to show the party the stuff he is made of.

“If APC fails to call their political thugs to order, I won’t hesitate to call on my people to fight and I would as well lead the battle front.”

He said he had enough evidence in his possession to fight the APC at the election tribunal.

“I want you all to be calm because I am sure of returning to the Agodi Government House,” he said.
