Oyo NSCDC Anti Human Trafficking Prosecutes Pastor For Defilement

The  Oyo State Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)  has charged Mr Francis Abayomi (M) 58-year-old for allegedly defiling one Akinpelu Emmanuella (F) 7-year-old on November 25, 2020 at Kutamiti Street off Bashorun Expressway, Ibadan.

The Magistrate in Charge of Family Court 1, Iyaganku Ibadan SH Adebisi ordered that the suspect be remanded in NSCDC Custody at the State Headquater Agodi Ibadan and adjourned the case till January 25, 2021.

The suspect allegedly defiled the Victim without her Consent and thereby Committed an Offence contrary to section 34(1) and Punishable Under Section 34 (2) of the Oyo State Child Right Law 2006.

Meanwhile, in the year 2020, the Oyo State Command Anti Human trafficking Unit attended to 343 cases which ranged from Child trafficking, Child abuse, child labour and street children, rape and Defilement of children who were in need of care and protection, physical assault and Domestic violence.

The Oyo State Commandant of NSCDC  frowned at issue of rape, defilement, and all forms of abuse on the child and female gender.

He, however, warned members of the public who engage in such act to desist from it or face the full wrath of the law and without compromise.
