A political group, SMA-ROL Democratic League of Oyo State has cautioned the All Progressive Congress (APC), in the state against denigrating and undemocratic utterances against the Engr Seyi Makinde led administration in the state.
In a release by the state chief co-ordinator of the group, Elder Bola Oluwadero made available to journalists in the Ibadan, the leadership of the defeated APC should embark on something meaningful to do instead of wasting their time criticising the purposeful government of Engr Seyi Makinde.
The release further cautioned
former governor of the state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, leadership of the party under the chairmanship of Chief Akin Oke against their uncordinated utterances.
It is obvious that the government of Engr. Seyi Mankinde and Rauf Olaniyan has embarked on meaningful and life changing projects since they assumed office. One of such is the reversal of free education in public school, prompt payment of workers salary and other projects which are on going.
According the release, the governor and his deputy deserved to be commended for their sincerity of purpose and honest declaration of their assets before the Code of Conduct Bureau openly, just as it challenged leaders of the immediate pasts APC government to explain to people of the state how projects and funds were expended and executed accross the state.
“Obviously, these people and their party APC can do nothing to tarnish governor Seyi Makinde and his deputy’s image and reputation. Their choice to lead the state was an act of God and the wish of the people of the state, therefore, it is important for people of the state to rally support for the Seyi Makinde government in order for them to enjoy the dividends of decmocracy.
