Commissioner for Youths and Sport in Oyo State, Seun Fakorede has charged members of the Shooting Stars Football Club of Ibadan to be more committed to the advancement of the club in the ongoing National Professional Football League (NPFL).
Korede said the charge became inevitable in order to encourage them to do more because their recent performance was not their best.
“The activities of the 3SC recently was visible to all, we all know that we started a bit slow. Over the period of the last few games, we played to gather momentum and I will say that what our players are doing is quite encouraging.
“With this, I will like to also encourage them to keep doing more because we believe this is not the best they can be. They can do better than what they are doing at the moment.
“What we have now is quite motivating and encouraging and I look forward to better days ahead for the Shooting Stars,” he said.
The commissioner advised fans, friends and members of Shooting Stars to do what they have to do with respect to the club, just as they should keep supporting the club in any way they could.
Fakorede urged them to be law-abiding because for every league there are always rules and guidelines, one of which they suffered from during their last game in Jos with Plateau United defeating them 3-1.
