A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lawmaker, representing Ido State constituency in Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Razak Mabaje has eulogised leaders of the party in the local government for their elderly and selfless commitments aimed at fostering peace in the area amid upcoming elections.
Mabaje also commended them for their efforts to ensuring that only qualified aspirants were screened for the election.
The Legislator gave the commendation in a chat with journalists in Ibadan on the wake of the election which was later postponed by the state governor by 72 hours in order to ensure that the exercises achieved it set objectives.
He said the leaders of the party deserved the commendation due to the progress and achievements the area has recorded in the area since the inception of this administration.
“I commend you all for your elderly and quality leadership roles in Ido since the commencement of this administration, I equally want to urge you all to ensure fairness and transparency in your quest to field qualified persons for the local government elections coming up soon.”
Hon Mabaje enjoined members of the party and intending aspirants to be law-abiding and display spirit of sportsmanship in the election.
