PDP Gov. Aspirant Vows to Transform Kogi to Enterprise an Enterprise State

A front line Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship  aspirant, Dr. Victor Adoji  has said that he will transform Kogi State from Civil Service State to an  Enterprise State if given the mandate come Nov 16th, 2019.

Adoji who disclosed this while speaking at Media Parley  organised for governorship aspirants  by Nigeria Union of Journalists, Kogi State Council in Lokoja, the State capital, said the time has come to change the narrative of the State.

The Governorship aspirant explained that the time has come to move Kogi State from what it used to be to where it ought to be.

“I have present myself  to the people of the state to manage the waste of over the years . Any time I see people around . I always see development . I will use the the scarce resource to create jobs for the people”, he said.

He lamented that if a governor could not pay salaries to the civil servants in the State,  then he should be doing the job by  himself .

He pointed out that Lagos State is the 7th largest economy in Africa,, noting that he was in the governorship race to remould a new state if given the opportunity to be the governor of Kogi State .

Adoji who a retired  a retired banker pointed  out that he would make agriculture a sustainable one ,adding  agriculture alone will create more jobs and create wealth for the people.

He stated that he will diversify the local economy so as create employment opportunities for the teaming youths in the State.

The aspirant added kogi State is richly endowed and will use the opportunities in cashew processing alone to create over 8,000 job in Kogi State, saying that after ideas comes money.

“It is about creativity, thinking, be creative ,enterprise,
innovation, creativities and money follows” ,he posited.
