PDP’ll Take Over In 2023, Says Arapaja

By Richard Thomas, Ibadan

The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Taofeek Arapaja has assured Nigerians that the party will take over governance and leadership of the country in 2023 and effect positive developments that will improve the lives of the people.

Arapaja gave the assurance at his 63rd birthday ceremony in Ibadan, saying the PDP is working so hard to clinch power in 2023  and turn things around for the suffering masses.

He said the current economic challenges confronting Nigerians call for divine and strategic intervention such that will bring succor to the masses.

Speaking at the birthday bash organised by committees of friends led by the Chairman PCTC  Hon. Dare Adeleke, Arapaja said the PDP remains the only party which has the road map to move Nigeria to a greater height.

He expressed his appreciation to the state governor, Seyi Makinde for the love and supports he extended to him, especially on his new position as the deputy national chaurman of the South of the PDP.

“I am an apostle of absolute loyalty and trust, hence, reason I have been enjoying outstanding relationship with all our party leaders under the kind supervision of Governor Seyi Makinde.

“In Politics, there is nothing like 99% loyalty, it must be one hundred percent loyalty and nothing more.

“Governor Makinde, being the leader of the party, has done so much for me, hence my resolve to be loyal to all his cause.

“Aside this, he is a man who always places premium on productivity, people and dividend of democracy. Such an individual deserves our supports,” he added.
