…There was no Arrest – CP

Two fake police officers were reportedly arrested, following the attack on the convoy of the Senator representing Kogi West, Senator Dino Melaye and who was returning from a crucial meeting in Lokoja.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), stalwarts, stakeholders and candidates of the party had gathered at the House of the ex governor of the state, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris for a crucial meeting ahead of Saturday election in the State.
It was learned that members of SARS numbering over hundred with masks surrounded the house of the for governor where meeting was being held.
This it was gathered brought about distractions, but the SARS were retreated back to Government House.
When Journalists called the Commissioners of Police, CP Hakeem Busari said he was not aware of the incident as the Police command did sent any police officers to the resident of the former Governor.
Busari who visited the scene was said to have dispersed the alleged SARS.
When asked to confirm the arrest of two fake police officers, Busari explained that there no crisis and nobody was arrested.
