Police Parades 30Yrs Old Taxi Driver For Killing His Wife,11 Others

Kogi State Police Command has paraded 12 suspects for various offences including a 30 year old taxi driver, Abdullahi Garba who  was arrested for allegedly stabbing his wife to death.

Other suspects were apprehended for kidnapping, armed robbery, car jacking, cattle rustling and hard drug offenders.

The State Police Comcommissioner, CP. Wilson Inalegwu who paraded the suspected kidnappers and others, stated that the crime situation in Kogi State has been relatively calm when compared with previous months.

Inalegwu who was represented by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP Yahaha Abubarka stated that the incidents of kkdnapping, armed robbery and other violent crimes have been drastically reduced, stressing that it was as a result of proactive crime prevention strategies developed by the command and carried out by the area commanders and the divisional police officers as well tactical operational unit of the command.

He said the Police Command will not rest on its oars,  urging all criminal elements to relocate from the state as anyone caught in the act would be made to face full wrath of law.

Parading suspects, the police boss noted that one Abdullahi Garba who was  allegedly killed his wife over house keeping allowance would soon be charge to court.

The Commissioner explained that on 30 of May 2017 ,detectives from the Homide section of Okehi police division in Okehi local government area arrested one  Abdullahi Garba
for murder of his wife , Mrs.Falilat Saka Garba,

He added that the suspect who admitted to have stabbed the deceased during a heated argument over house keeping money.

Speaking in an interview with Journalist,  said that the late demanded for M4,000 for house keep, but He was able give N2,000 and argument ensued and Jacked biczar shirt and during the fight be stabbed his wife in the shoulder and later died.

Others suspects are Ocheje Echeje,Omaloko Emmanuel Musa Onalo,Isah Ojode, Yusuf Husseni, Musa Ibrahim, Odama Gabriel ,Isiyaha Aminu, Lawal Ganiyu,Jibrin Idris and Enemi Salihu paraded for kidnapping, armed robbery and cattle rustling.

The will soon be charge to court to prove their innocence.

Items recovered from the suspects are Engish Double barrel gun, single barrel, Barreta pistol,two live cartridges.,green vw gulf 3 salon car,wine colour gulf,Toyota Camry car.
