Two 400 Level male students, Messrs Akinduro Robert and Samuel Ify Eke, who had already written their final examinations could not go home because they have not completed their long essays (Projects/Undergraduate Theses).

Our correspondent learnt that the students left their hostel in the evening on September 5th of this month to meet another student known as Praise who would help them to typeset their long essays but they did not return home since then.

The police spokesperson said Praise who was the last person that the students spoke with was arrested and that the suspect is still in custody at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

The CP pleaded with any individual with useful information concerning the whereabouts of the missing students to assist the police in rescuing them.

The Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Jelili Oguntola Alamu, in a chat with our correspondent said the university management is assisting the police authorities in collaboration with the parents of the missing students to ensure that they are found and reunited with their families.
