Power Supply: Lagos Lawmaker Donates N1m to Community

All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in Somolu Constituency 1 and member, Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Rotimi Olowo, has donated One Million Naira to the residents of Olabiran area who had been suffering from damaged transformer for months.

It was gathered that the transformer got spoilt for months and several efforts by the residents to get a replacement was abortive not until Olowo came to their rescue.

The APC candidate who presented a cheque of N1million to the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IECD) for the replacement of the spoilt transformer, said he was unhappy seeing the residents suffering unnecessarily, saying that he would continue to ensure that the areas in his constituency do not suffer such bad situation again.

The presentation of the cheque was done at the IKEDC office situated at Ikorodu road Obanikoro.

In attendance were members of CDC from Olabiran, an APC Chieftain, Barrister Ogunnaike and staff of the electricity distribution company.
