President Muhammadu Buhari is currently presiding over the weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council conducted by virtual means.
This is in compliance with the Federal Government’s protocols on COVID-19.
Details of the agenda of the meeting is not immediately clear. But the meeting may review the update on the persistent spike in the coronavirus infections across the country.
Physically present with the President at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja among others are Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, Secretary to the Government of the Federation Boss Mustapha and Chief of Staff to the President, Ibrahim Gambari.
There are also at least at least nine ministers at the Council Chambers while other ministers are participating virtually from their offices.
