President Muhammadu Buhari bids farewell to his aides as he departs Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport for London for a 10-day medical leave.
During the trip he would get treatment for ear infection. After initial denial, the presidency had on Sunday confirmed that the president would proceed to London for treatment for ear infection.
In his absence, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will act as president. President Buhari is said to have transmitted a letter to the National Assembly notifying them of his absence and the need for Osinbajo to act in his stead as president.
