Prophet Ologbonyo Tasks Federal Govt on Security, Economy

The Federal Government has been admonished to rise to the security and economic challenges affecting citizens of the country or hand over to those who can make things work for the people.
The admonition was given  by the planter, Christ Apostolic Church, Church of Boanerges, a.k.a Mercy Land, Prophet Ade Ologbonyo during the  10th Anniversary Thanksgiving service and foundation laying ceremony of Ultramodern Cathedral of the church in Orun/Ise, Ekiti State.
According to him, nobody is sleeping with the two eyes closed  nowadays because of fear of likely attacks from Fulani herdsmen, terrorist and  armed robbers, calling on government to step up security measures to tackle the menace.
“It is very unfortunate  that the security of lives and property in the country is  disheartening, nobody is sleeping with the two eyes closed. People are just being killed like Chicken, it is high time government rise to this development and fine a lasting solution to this problem.”
Ologbonyo said one of the major responsilities of government is to protect lives and property of the citizenry, just as he advised  government to device measures to  make life meaningful to Nigerians.
He said the second responsibility of government was in the area of health adding that he had  been to 52 villages in  Ekiti state in commemoration of  the 10th anniversary of his church to reach out to the people in the villages on health ground.
“We observed that some sick people could die  because of little money to buy drugs for themselves in the rural areas. There are health centres in these villages but  they do not have drugs and other health facilities to  operate. I appeal to government to take full responsibility.”
The programme featured song of  praises, special blessing on the foundation of the cathedral and singspirstion from Evangelist (Dr) Bola Are, Evangelist Bisi Alawiye Aluko and others.
