The National Orientation Agency (NOA) on Friday took their public awareness campaign to major markets in Benin sensitizing the people on the need to collect their Permanent Voters Card (PVC).
Fliers containing information on the exercise were distributed across several markets and corner streets sensitizing the people on the need to obtain the cards
The NOA state director, Mrs Magdaline Umunnah who led the agency, said the agency would not relent on its efforts at ensuring that citizens are well informed and mobilized towards for the exercise.
She said the agency would visits all the council areas of the state to engage the NOA local government staff in an effective and intensified awareness campaign at the grass root level.
While noting that though there have been various messages on the collection of the PVC through the media, Umunnah said the place of face-to-face contact with the people would not be jettisoned, but effectively utilized.
