Ramadan: Clerics, Labour Leader, Frown at Tribalism, Proffer Solution to ‎Economy Recession

An Imam of  Ansurdeen Islamic Foundation ‎Mohammed Sahffi, has said God created human being in diverse tribe just for means of Identification and not for segregation has been portray now a days, thus God wants us to be cordial.
‎He said in this contemporary world only ‘nobody’ gets stern punishment while the who is who go scot free no matter the weight of their short comings.
The cleric stated this while delivering a lecture tagged “National Unity” at the second Edition of Ramadan Lecture in honour of late wife of Labour leader Hajia Amudalat ‎Issa Aremu organized by Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kwara Chapter  in Ilorin on Friday.
He said if the nation has people who correct justly, the society will be a better place to live.
The Imam noted that reconciliation is rewarding in sight of God more than fasting,praying and giving alms.
According to him ‎Unity can be foster when we persevere,respect everyone regardless of religion and tribe differences without under rating any one as those underrated could be in the good books of God of Adam the fore father of all.
Similarly Mallam Nureni Olodan who speaks on “Way out of Economy Recession” urged to stop calling names of leaders at various level but rather revive the potentials in individual,embrace farming,entrepreneurship as God bless our toil in many folds.
He said God gave description of Nigerian in the Holy qua’ran   but do not just mention it’s name,adding the country was blessed with everything but turn its back to God, which makes it populace suffer in abundance.
Oladan ‎said Economy recession will always bring job lost and high level of poverty to the nation experiencing it.
The cleric said Journalists are Signs in this generation sets by God due to the gravity of roles they play in a society.
‎He prayed for successful administration of government officials at various levels and prayed for quick recovery of President  Muhammadu Buhari.
Earlier,the Chairman Kwara NUJ, Comrade Abiodun Abdulkareem  said the Union organised the annual lecture as part of activities to recognised and honour the late good woman so that coming generation would pick a clue from her  worthy life style.
Abdulkareem said the Mosque built in her honour whose foundation was laid last year at the maiden edition of the lecture is nearly completed,adding that once it is completed sales of beer in the vicinity of the press centre which houses the proposed Central Mosque will be prohibited.
He commended the contribution of the widower among other people towards the building of the Mosque.
 ‎Speaking on behalf of the traditional rulers present at the event,the Olojoku of Ojuku Oba Alhaji Abdulrazak Afolabi described the deceased as a good woman,godly and a special being,he called on  individual to pray for her,urged other women to emulate late comrade’s wife and exhibits her good behaviour.
In his Remarks,‎the former Vice President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Issa Aremu, emphasised on use of indigenous language in public and private places.
The Vice Chair Industrial Global Union added that just like the cleric said we must arise,work tirelessly to bring back the Nigeria lost glory,as we shift our attention from the most ‎focused natural resources.
‎Aremu noted that we need to not to chase a tribe from a region to another but chase out unemployment,poverty and other vices.
He urged that as nation we use our population in positive way which in turn will bring growth and development.
