The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo, has expressed concern over the Senate President,  Ahmed Lawan’s position towards the Southern governors restructuring agitations.

He described it as a premeditated response to the genuine agitations of the people.

This is coming on the heels of Lawan and his House of Representatives’ counterpart, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila’s communiqué over the 17 Southern Governors’ clamour for restructuring, in line with the agitations of the people,

Oluomo, who spoke in an interview shortly after congratulating the people of the State on the successful celebration of Eid- El Fitri, added that with such response emanating from the Senate President, it is doubtful that he is committed to constitution amendment to pave the way for the yearnings of the people.
