The wife of the Lagos State Governor, Dr.(Mrs) Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu has charged Lagos State Christian pilgrims to be good ambassadors of the Ssate and the country, during their stay in the Kingdom of Jordan .
The First Lady who gave the charge on Tuesday in her address at the Service of Dedication organised by Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board (LSCPWB) to commit and rededicate the 2020 General/2021 Easter intending Pilgrims to the Kingdom of Jordan into God’s hands.
Dr. Sanwo-Olu enjoined the intending pilgrims to show humility, empathy, dignity, dedication and sincere spirituality during and after the performance of the exercise.
She also admonished the intending pilgrims to see the pilgrimage as a unique opportunity to renew and solidify their faith in God and also enhance their relationship with people around them and the society at large.
Commissioner, Ministry of Home Affairs, Prince Anofiu Olanrewaju Elegushi in his goodwill message enjoined the intending pilgrims to be health cautious and follow all safety and precautionary measures set up by the Government stressing that the Covid19 pandemic is still ravaging.
