Sanwo-Olu Unveils 28 -room Bayo Osinowo Block

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has officially unveiled the newly Constructed 28-room Senator Bayo Osinowo Administrative Block at Agboyi Ketu
Local Council Development Area, describing the late Senator as a bridge builder and motivator, who stood out in so many ways.

Governor Sanwo-Olu stated this at the official Commissioning of the
newly constructed Administrative Block at Agboyi Ketu
Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Secretariat, Alapere.

He said Lagos is moving forward, despite the COVID 19 pandemic rampaging the world
and that the state would come back bigger and better, while reassuring that government would continue to ensure it embarked on youth empowerment programmes, provide  basic amenities, as well as renovate schools in the area, to give voice to the voiceless.

The Governor also promised to fulfill his electioneering campaign, promises which include building a sports stadium to create recreation ground for youths. He appealed to the people to support the All Progressives Congress Senatorial and Lagos State Assembly Candidates in the bye elections come December 5, 2020.

In his address, Chairman of the LCDA, Dele Oshinowo, said the newly constructed structure was named after a great humanitarian in late Senator Bayo Oshinowo, who served in Lagos political sphere at different levels for 16 years, adding that the gesture was also a commitment to show that political leaders at the grassroot levels could use resources available, to provide world class infrastructure for people in their area.

Present at the event were the Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat,  State Government officials,    leaders of the Lagos All Progressives Congress, Lagos East Senatorial candidate, Tokunbo Abiru, traditional rulers, among others.

Governor Sanwo also used the occasion to commission the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Complex at Ijora Badia.
