Osun State Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, has congratulated the lawmaker representing Lagos Central at the National Assembly, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 60th birthday anniversary, today, Monday, September 21.
In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, Oyetola said he joined the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, family members, friends and political associates to felicitate with Mrs Tinubu on her diamond birthday anniversary.
The governor described Senator Tinubu as a ‘Jewel of priceless worth’ and a leading inspiration to girls and women in the country. He also praised her for providing uncommon representation at the National Assembly.
Oyetola said: “On behalf of my family, the Government and people of The State of Osun, I congratulate you on your birthday, and I pray that the Almighty God will never cease to bless you immensely.
“On this momentous occasion of your 60th birthday, I attest to the uncommon representation you have been providing in the National Assembly as a Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic.
“In a nation in search of a moral compass for its young girls and women, you are a leading light and an inspiration to women who constitute about half of the population to enable them to contribute their quota to the development of Nigeria.
“The Progressives Family is proud of your role as one of the strong Matrons of the Family and one of the foremost breeders of a successor generation working hard to enthrone sustainable democracy and development.
“As you hit the Diamond age, I pray that the Almighty God in His infinite mercies will continue to strengthen and preserve you for more useful and purposeful service to Lagos State, Nigeria and mankind.”
