Shodipo Tasks Amosun on Completion of Rebuilding Mission


The National President of Ogun Patriotic Forum (OPF), a socio–cultural organisation, Mr. Seyi Shodipo, has called on the Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, to ensure the completion of his various laudable projects spread across the state’s senatorial districts aimed at rebuilding mission of the Gateway State.

Shodipo, who made this remark in an interactive session with newsmen in Abeokuta, expressed satisfaction with Senator Amosun’s implementation of people-oriented programmes, which had impacted in an unprecedented manner on the lives of the people of Ogun State during his outgoing first term in office as the Ogun State Governor.

He noted that the loving people of Ogun State were proud of Senator Amosun’s initiatives in putting in place all necessary mechanisms aimed at making Ogun State an envy of other states of the federation with the construction of flyovers across the state’s their senatorial districts, the re-introduction of free-education and construction of world-class model schools for children of public schools, construction of first-ever six-lane international standard roads across the state with modern features such as drains, medians, greenbelts, walkways, street-lights and the distribution of over 500 brand new transformers to bring back to life hitherto comatose Small and Medium Scale Enterprises in the state.

The OPF President further added that Senator Amosun’s efficient healthcare services and delivery, improved agricultural production, affordable housing and urban renewal, purchase of multi-million naira latest technology of Armoured Personnel Carriers (APC) and patrol vans for the state Police Command, which has led to the drastic reduction in crime and all forms of criminality in the state, the creation of an enabling environment for business and industries to thrive, which had made ever 46 industries with at least 100 million dollar investment to spring up in the state and the offer of employment opportunities to over 50,000 youths in the state through direct and indirect employment, no doubt, contributed immensely to his re-election.

Shodipo, who felicitated with Senator Amosun for his re-election, described the people’s clarion call on him to continue steering the ship of the Gateway State for another four years as resounding and well-deserved, adding that the people’s wish for the completion of the various ongoing infrastructural development would be actualized.
