At least one person was killed while some sustained injuries on Friday morning as some suspected hoodlums armed with guns invaded Sabo Community in Osogbo, Osun State.
The suspected thugs were said to be having a candle night in honour of one of their colleague who died following a clash that ensued during a carnival at Sabo Community on Thursday evening.
It was also gathered that the suspected thugs burnt goods belonging to some members of the Community, the incident which led to closure of businesses in the area.
The youths also set bonfires in different streets thereby preventing free movement of people and vehicles.
Though the cause of the incident is still not clear, findings revealed that some injured persons have been taken to hospital in the vicinity for medical attention.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), Yemisi Opalola who confirmed the incident said an investigation is ongoing and that normalcy has returned to the affected area.
