Tension In Ogun State As ACOMORAN Sets To Conduct Illegal Election

Tension building up in Ogun State as former chairman of Amalgamate Motorcycle, Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN) Alhaji Samsondeen Apelogun sets to conduct an illegal election in the state.
Apelogun also known as “All-Rounder” planned to stage illegal elections to elect new chairman for the union on Wednesday morning.
A resident at Akin Olugbade – Pepsi/ Quarry areas, Mrs. Adijat Anifowose said that the process is illegal as it does not have government backing, stating that lives people living in the areas are in danger.
She explained that residents living very close to the ACOMORAN state secretariat would vacate their houses to avoid bloodshed among the transport union.
Those that are vying for the state chairman of  ACOMORAN are Comrade Razaq Sotayo – Solebo, Kayode Sowunmi and an unknown person who later steps down for Sowunmi to emerged on oppose.
Meanwhile, a source said Alhaji Apelogun had held a secret meeting with some of his loyalists in his residents at Sagamu GRA, as he vows that Alhaji Razaq Sotayo popularly called Solebo would never become next ACOMORAN chairman.
Sources hinted Western Post that the state government might likely to stop the election ahead of tomorrow.
All efforts made to speak with Barrister Sunday Adeniyi chairman transport committee was fruitless.
