The traditional worshippers across Ondo state have drum their support behind the state Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu for setting the track for the Fulani herdsmen in the state.
The Chairman of the association, Chief Adewale Oso, the Árábà of Iwaro said that they are in support of the governor so as to give the forest rest from herdsmen.
The traditional worshippers described the decision as timely and courageous, saying that the vacation order is in tandem with the wishes of people.
According to them, “We the traditional worshippers in Ondo state are ready to support you with all we have, they said
“The Fulani herdsmen are cowards by hiding in the forest with their AK 47, let them come out and wage war rather than hiding in the forest if they are bold enough
“If the Fulani herdsmen insist on not making life bearable for our people, we will make the land too hot for them and their animals to stay.
“We have determined to assist the governor in invoking the spirit of the ancestors on them if they insist.
“We advice the government and the people of the state to let’s work together and fight the common enemies of our land .”
The Chairman, therefore, urged the traditional rulers to support and join hands in cutting to size the activities of the herdsmen in Ondo land.
