The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo, has congratulated the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, on the revalidation of his election victory by the Election Petition Tribunal.

Oluomo, who congratulated the Governor during the Plenary, also celebrated with five other colleagues including Honourables Akeem Balogun, Oludaisi Elemide, Sylvester Abiodun, Sheriff Yusuf and Adeyemi Ademuyiwa on the confirmation of their election victory at the Tribunal.

The Speaker equally lauded the State’s helmsman for ensuring immediate construction of the bridge linking Adigbe-Opako-Obada-Oko area in Abeokuta, saying the road was crucial to motorists moving in and out of the State capital.

Oluomo stated this while responding to Hon. Damilola Soneye, who reported that the spate of works on the bridge was very encouraging and thanked the Governor for the project.

He equally called on security agencies in the State to be more proactive in putting an end into the menace being created by cultists in some parts of the State, urging members of the public to support security agents in ridding the society of criminals.
