UI Alumni Inducts Ogun HoS Into Council Of Elders

Ogun State Head of Service (HoS), Tpl (Mrs.) Amope Chokor has been inducted into the University of Ibadan Alumni Association Council of Elders, in recognition of her immense contribution to the progress of the body.

The Alumni members, led by the Chairman of the Ogun State Chapter, Mr. James Adenmosun, conferred the honour during a courtesy visit to the Head of Service, at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, noting that Mrs. Chokor was the fifth member, who had consecutively occupy the exalted position of the HoS of Ogun State in the last nine years.

Adenmosun said the Association decided to officially induct her into the Prestigious Council of Elders of the Association, as a way of appreciating the Head of Service for her useful advice, saying her membership would further facilitate the smooth running of the Association.

In her response, Mrs. Chokor thanked the association for the honour bestowed on her, promising to continue to give necessary support towards the progress of the Association.

She urged members to identify key areas where there could be further improved better service delivery, charging them to contribute their quota towards the development of the State and the Public Service at large.

The Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Service Matters, Mr. Kolawole Fagbohun, commended the gesture, urging them to draw the attention of the HoS to matters that would further strengthen her Office
