#EndSARS protesters protesting on Tuesday returned to the streets in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.
The protesters blocked the ever-busy Olaiya axis and other major roads in the state, causing gridlock as commuters and motorists were on a standstill.
Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, had pleaded with the youths protesting alleged brutality by the dissolved Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS) to be calm, assuring them that their demands would be met.
The protesting youths who barricaded the main entrance of the Government Secretariat, Abere, Osogbo in earlier hours of Monday, had earlier gathered at the popular Nelson Mandela Freedom Park where they made a procession to the House of Assembly Complex to register their grievances and agitate for the disbandment of SARS by the Federal Government before assembling at the Secretariat.
