VP Osinbajo pays condolence visit to late Owolabi’s family


The Vice-President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has paid a condolence visit to the family of Precious Owolabi, the Channels Television reporter who was killed during a clash between the Police and members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) last week Monday.

Osinbajo visited Owolabi’s family in Zaria, Kaduna State on Sunday, urging them to take heart, adding that the loss of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member would not be forgotten.

He was accompanied by state Gov, Nasir El-Rufai, who received him at Kaduna Airforce base.

The Senior Special Assistant, Media & Publicity to Vice President, Mr. Olaolu Akande in a tweet said, VP in his condolence letter said,  “We bless the name of the Lord for the life of Precious. We cannot even purport to imagine the enormity of this loss to the family, but we’re confident that the Almighty God will comfort the family & bring back joy & peace to all members of the family in Jesus name.”
