Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said efforts to recover from the losses suffered by Lagos State in the violence that trailed the hijack of the EndSARS protest have began.
Governor Sanwo-Olu made the pronouncement at the 10th meeting of the National Council on Lands, Housing and Urban Development at Ikeja.
The governor also promised to make public the reports of the Judicial Panel on Endsars restitution.
While commending the Police for ensuring peace and order at Lekki toll gate on Wednesday, the governor stated that all those arrested had been released except for one who had a dangerous weapon on him.
Sanwo-Olu said that funds for other developmental projects would be deployed to rebuild assets destroyed during last year’s Endsars protest.
He urged the youths to engage meaningfully with the government to bring about the much desired change in the country.
