President Buhari has restated that his government will rescue the abducted Chibok Girls.
He said the operational headquarters of Boko Haram would remain in Maiduguri, Borno State until the insurgents are completely subdued.
Buhari said after subduing Boko Haram, his government would commission a sociological study on the Boko Haram phenomenon, its origin, operation and sponsors.
He, however, said Boko Haram is not the only security challenge facing the country and singled out kidnapping, all of which he said his government would confront.
The president sought the support of labour leaders in the country, saying he needs their support in the task ahead.
He also solicited the support of the media, which he described as one of the best in the continent.
