Finishing primary school is what I have always longed for. I entered my wonderful school at the age of two and since then I have been through series of learning and training. Indeed I have learnt from my teachers on how to read and write, especially how to express myself.
I am fortunate to have parents who understands that for a girl child to go to school means she would be a better person in future.
In school I learnt a lot of things, meeting pupils of my age, how to address people politely, and what my friends want to be in Future.
All through primary School, I also learnt about my country Nigeria and the several beautiful ethnic groups we have in Nigeria.
Because I have had an experience of a beautiful primary education, where I had the opportunity to learn, I wish the Acting President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo will make a law that allows every girl child have the best of education in Nigeria. A law that will make children in Nigeria very happy whether they are rich or poor.
Federal Government should stop illiteracy and child early marriage for girl child. They need to be educated so that they can be like other notable, vibrant, powerful women in our world today, such as: Abike Dabiri-Erewa (SSA to the President Foreign Affairs and Diaspora); Obiageli Ezekwesili (Former Minister of Education); Angela Merkel (Germany Chancellor); Theresa May (Prime Minister of United Kingdom) and others.
The dream of becoming Future Leaders start today with the kind of foundation we laid for them in terms of standard educational background.
I plead President Muhammadu Buhari led-administration to begin “Education for All Nigerian Child” policy now without any postponement. Let make our nation great again, let bring back the glory of Nigeria Primary Education because, this is the foundation of a good leadership.
