The former speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and returned to his former party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of the party, Yobe Governor Mai Mala Buni, who took him to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari, has said the reason why the former House Speaker left the party is no more there.
Dogara had in 2018 dumped the APC for the PDP following his political confrontation for about two years with the former governor of Bauchi State, Mohammed Abubakar.
But Alhaji Abubakar lost his re-election to Alhaji Bala Mohammed of the PDP.
Speaking with State House Correspondents after a meeting with President Buhari, Governor Buni said Dogara had been welcomed back to the party by the President.
