Yoruba National Leader, Fasanmi Hails Oyetola


The National Leader of the Yoruba social- cultural group (Afenifere), Senator Ayo Fasanmi, has described the first year of Governor Gboyega Oyetola in office as continuity of progressive governance in Osun State.

He congratulated the governor on his good governance.

Pa Fasanmi, the oldest surviving senator in Nigeria, said that the dividends of democracy which were being enjoyed in the state were as a result of welfarist approach of Governor Oyetola.

In a statement in Osogbo through his media assistant, Mr. Temitope Adebayo, the elder statesman, who served as a lawmaker in the First and Second Republic, said that the 360 days of Governor Oyetola witnessed dedication to the service of humanity, despite the financial constraints in the state, adding that he prioritised full payment of workers’ salary.
