The Lagos State Waste Management Agency is not resting in its pursuit of a consistently clean Lagos but deliberately through an innovative and result-oriented approach is forging on by strengthening its campaign, as it is set to unveil ‘LAWMA Ambassadors,’ who will take the mandate “#ZeroWaste”  of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to the millions of Lagos residents.

With activities already returning back to normal in the state, though in a gradual process, there seems a no better time than now, to remind Lagosians on the need to maintain and sustain a clean Lagos that is safe for all through the approach of waste sorting from the source.

The Ambassadors, who are celebrities from all sectors of the entertainment industry and beyond, are men and women of impeccable character who have shown over time with their craft, life pursuit, and goals their commitment to what the agency represents.

Set to be unveiled as LAWMA Ambassadors are Nollywood stars and comedians, the likes of Foluke Daramola, Nino Bolanle, Ijebu, Buchi, Arole amongst a host of others.

Excited to be part of the movement,  some of the soon to be unveiled Ambassadors expressed their gratitude to be part of the agency promising to do all in their capacity to ensure LAWMA is well represented and the agenda forged.

The event which is expected to take place in the first week of September at the Ijora Olopa headquarter of LAWMA, will no doubt change the face of waste management campaign and awareness in the state.
