Former Governor of Delta State, James Onanefe Ibori who arrived in Nigeria on Saturday morning after his released last month from prison in the United Kingdom (UK) has been picked up by Operatives of the Department of Sate Services (DSS) .
Ibori was expecting in country next Wednesday, by family, friends and associates who have planning to give the ex-convict a hero’s welcome.
It was gathered by Punch that the Director General of the DSS, Mr. Lawan Daura, instructed that Ibori be brought to his office at Aso Drive, Abuja, for questioning.
The former governor was said to have been interrogated on his sojourn in the United Kingdom where he was recently released from prison.
He was also said to have been asked about his plan in the country.
