Kogi State Government has confirmed the appointment of Mrs. Hassanat Kehinde Lawal as the Head of Service (HOS).
The new Head of Service until the confirmation by the State Executive Council was the Acting Head of Service for close to 18 months.
Until her appointment, Mrs.Lawal was a permanent Secretary, the office of HOS.
She attended Kaduna Polytechnic where she obtained OND and HND in Textiles Engineiering.
She proceed to Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management ,Computer Analysis and MBA degree.
An elated Head of Service, said she will continue to praise God for his merits,saying that she has resolved touch lives of the people.
Mrs. Lawal commended Governor Yahaya Bello for giving her the opportunity, stressing that she will not disappoint the people of the State.
On the recent staff screening exercise, stated that the previous administrations lack political will to sanitize the civil service.
She pointed out that there was a lot rots in the system, saying that present administration has with determinations to sanitize the civil service.
