Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has restated his commitment to putting up an effective traffic management system across the state.
He disclosed that the process had already commenced with the implementation of the “Edo Clean-up Project.”
A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Edo State Governor, John Mayaki, made available to journalists in Benin, revealed that they would have managers directing traffic across the state while technology would be used to monitor the activities of the managers.
“There will be a television room where we will network and see what is going on with the road users and the traffic enforcers, so that when you are arrested and you are complaining, we will play back the video for you. Even the officials will be empowered to use technology to record offences,” He said.
