A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has granted former Minister of Interior Abba Moro bail.
Moro has been in detention since last week following his arrest over the scam in the 2014 recruitment exercise carried out by the National Immigration Service (NIS).
20 applicants reportedly died in the exercise.
Meanwhile, former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Vice Marshal Alex Badeh being detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over the $2.1 billion arms deal will be formally arraigned in court on March 7.
A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja had deferred the arraignment till then.
