The Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja 11, has put a lie to reports that he has broken up with his wife, Olori Wuraola.
Reports that the one-year-old union of the duo has parked up irretrievably had gone viral on the social media recently.
The union between the two was consummated last year in Benin -City and Ile-ife with much funfair.
But the Director of Media to Ooni Ogunwusi, Mr. Moses Olafare, denied any such. He said he was aware of the news until NAIJ .com contacted him over it.
Olafare said there was no iota of truth in the report and that the palace of Ooni would issue a statement on the matter soon.
The reports had claimed that Ooni’s family had grown tired of Olori Wuraola’s antics and had instigated the separation. It was alleged that even former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s intervention could not save the marriage.
