A total of 12 political parties has presented candidates for the chairmanship and councillorship positions election in Lagos State.

The parties included are, Accord Party (AP), Action Alliance (AA), Alliance for Democracy (AD), All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), All Progressives Congress (APC), Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), and Kowa Party (KP).

Others are, Labour Party (LP), United Democratic Party (UDP), United Progressive Party (UPP), National Action Council (NAC), and Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM).

4:24 -  At Ikoyi, some APC members jubilate after the announcement of the election results in theie polling unit

4:14 - Remi Tinubu’s ward Councillorship result: APC: 43 PDP: 6 one voided.

4:11 - Result for Ward D Unit 001, Oremeta Strt, Ojodu: Chairmanship-Accord- 1 APC - 38; and PDP - 15 Councillorship- Accord-0 APC - 36; and PDP - 19.

2:27 - The election in the Ojuwoye, Mushin area is keenly contested between APC and Accord Party.

1:42 - Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Fatai Owoseni chasing thugs away from polling units at St Jones Catholic Primary School, Oshodi.

1:20 - Generally, it is low turnout in Lekki due to the continued down-pour. With the recent flooding witnessed in the area, residents are holed up in their homes

12:40 - Stranded electorate waiting for accreditation list at unit 063,Ward A, Marwa, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

12:11 - Only few voters turned out in several polling units in Oshodi.

12:00 - Voters have refused to come out in some parts of the mainland. Party Agents are ringing bells so that eligible voters can come and vote.

11:53 - Electorate complaining to the DPO Ogba, Mr. Vaughan Omololu of no ballot papers for concillorship positions at ward E Kasumu Agege.

11:41 -  Many youths in Ojodu area have turned the major roads into soccer fields…not ready to vote.

11:39 - With the fact that there is restriction on movements till 3pm in Lagos State, some shops in Agege, mostly beer parlours and canteens, are open for business.

11:31 - Electoral officers waiting for voters…at the polling unit on Odozi Street, Ojodu.

11:27 - 10 people have cast their votes at polling unit 019, Bode, Iju Road. A party agent said he was cursed by the people he knocked on their doors to vote.

- LASIEC officials and party agents lament low turnout in Agege.

- Voters casting their votes at Unit 2, Ward 2, Isale Eko, Lagos Island.

11:07 - At Ward ,E Unit 19, Agege, the polling unit of the Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr. Mudashiru Obasa, only a police woman and a party agent are available. No election material.

11:05 - APC chairmanship candidate in Somolu LGA, Mr. Abdulahmed Salawu, now voting.

9:44 - Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode voting at Ogunmodede College Papa -Epe.

8:36 - In Ward E, Agidingbi, Ojodu local council area, LASIEC officials are just arriving Agidingbi grammar school. Voters have been waiting for the arrival of the officials.
